Privacy
Short version: I keep as little as I can, and I never sell or share it.
What I keep
- Your email, if you sign up for findings. With it: when you signed up, which form you used, and whether you've confirmed. That's the whole list. You confirm by email first, so nobody can sign you up but you.
- What you send in the quote form. Your name, email and idea reach me as an email, so I can reply with a price.
- How many times the light cord's been pulled. A single number. Nothing about who pulled it.
What I don't
- No ads, and no tracking cookies.
- Visits are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't follow you around the web.
- Your browser remembers whether you like the lights on or off. That stays on your device.
- Like any host, Cloudflare sees your IP address to deliver pages and to slow down spam on the forms. I don't keep it. When you sign up for findings, it goes to Buttondown too, for its spam check, and Buttondown may keep it with your signup.
Where it lives
The site is on Cloudflare. The findings list is at Buttondown, which sends the findings. Quote requests land in my email.
